Born in Heraklion Crete.He is holding an Electrical Engineering Degree from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), and both a Master’s Degree and a PhD in Geoinformatics from the same Academic Institution. He is EDP manager at the Hellenic Authority for Geology and Mineral Explotation and concelor at the Attica region. He has served as Vice Governor for Transparency and e-Government in the Region of Attica(2011-2014), Board Member of the Greek National Centre for Public Administration and Local Governmentc (EKKDA 2011-2014) and Deputy Director of National School for Public Administration and Local Government (2014-2015). He has taught at the University of West Attica(2002-2010). Author of 6 books,many publications and monographs, about Geoinformatics and Geografic Information Systems (GIS).
