Dimitrios D. Vergados is a Professor in the Department of Informatics at the University of Piraeus.
His research interests are in the areas of computer networks and communications, telecommunication systems, cloud computing and image processing and analysis, management of digital cultural content.
He has several publications in journals, books and conference proceedings.
He has served as a committee member and evaluator in national and international organizations and agencies.
He has also served as a chair, technical program committee member (TPC) and reviewer in several international conferences and co-editor, member of the editorial board, and reviewer in several international journals.
