Vasiliki Diamantopoulou

DjpgAssistant Professor in the Department of Information and Communication Systems Engineering at the University of the Aegean and a Senior Researcher at the Department of Digital Systems at the University of Piraeus, Greece.
She holds a PhD in Information Systems and Innovation from the Department of Information and Communication Systems Engineering, University of the Aegean, Greece. She also holds an MSc in Management of Information Systems and a Diploma in Product and Systems Design Engineering, both from the University of the Aegean.
She has worked as a Research Fellow at the School of Computing, Engineering and Mathematics at the University of Brighton, UK.
Her research interests include privacy and security of Information Systems, and eGovernment and interoperability frameworks.
She is a co-author of more than forty research publications in international scientific journals and conferences, and books and book chapters in her interest field.
She has ten years’ experience in several national and EU funded R&D projects, carrying out research and administrative responsibilities.
She is a Data Protection Officer (DPO Executive) and an Information Security Management Systems Lead Auditor ISO 27001:2013, according to the ISO/IEC 17024, both certified by TÜV Austria Hellas.
